My Crazy Double Life - Part 1
Today was my final day of work at Glenville State College, bringing the end to two years at the school, but most importantly bringing an end to the crazy ten month run working at both Glenville State and Alderson-Broaddus. Click the link for a little refresher http://tinyurl.com/lwb3mr.
Am I surprised I made it?? No not at all, I knew it would be stupid and insane, but I also knew that it was do able. While thing weren't perfect, there were many other external factors to blame besides me and my two jobs.
I will be moving to AB full time in the fall. While I am extremely excited about the opportunities there it is still extremely difficult to leave a place with such amazing people and a working environment that allows me to do what I feel is right and needed.
Over the course of the next few weeks I am going to highlight each of those ten months and post them on the blog. Read more on this article...

Is Lamar Odom Back??? Posterizes Birdman Anderson
The defacto "X" factor for the LA Lakers all season showed up in a big way last night as the Lakers grabbed a 3-2 series lead by pulling away on a 21-3 run. Odom went for 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 monster blocks. The Laker block party was clutch late as Gasol and Lamar combined for nine blocks in the contest.
So again the question needs to be asked. Is the real Lamar Odom going to stand up?? The man who reached double figures in all five of LA's games against Utah, has scored in double figures just four times since then(12 games). Add that to the 39% shooting percentage and the constant jabs at Odom's toughness and heart, you will see one of the reasons why the Lakers have struggled.
Lamar is the exact definition of the "want to player" (please see Allen Iverson, Stephen Marbury and Vince Carter)in the NBA. By want to, I mean he plays when he wants to, and only when he wants to. Here's to hoping that Lamar goes back to eating handfuls of candy and disappearing until its too late for the Lakers.

Zambrano Throws Out Umpire
Carlos Zambrano - An amazing talent that has an amazing temper. Well once again his temper gets the best of him as he was ejected for the 4th time in his career. This time it was a disputed play at the plate that sent him over the edge. Z looks to of bumped the home plate umpire which got him the automatic heave hoooo... then Z decided that he would throw the umprie out. along with the ball into the out field ..

NBA Rescinds Tech on Howard
I clearly don't understand the NBA League Office's obsession who fixing every call during the playoffs.. It has made the NBA officials sooo paranoid its unbelievable.. They review every call, giving Flagrants fouls left and right.. Let them play basketball. We have become a jump shooting league, its garbage.
Technical Foul??? You tell me.

Looks like they are accused of cheating on a players SAT test. Every good program in D1 Athletics cheats at some point. This is why I am getting out of compliance!!!

Barcelona Downs Man. United in Champions League Final
Who would have thought all those early chances Man U was unable to capitalize in the open five minutes would be their best chances of the night. Barcelona goes on to defeat Man U 2-0 on goals by Eto and Messi... Barcelona looked very impressive..

Lebron Gets No Help, Cavs Fall to Orlando in Game 3
Everyone has talked about the defensive issues the Cavaliers are having with Orlando, last night it was Offensive problems. Big Z, Mo and Delonte were a combined 13 of 38 from the field, Ouch!!! I have no faith that the Cavs coaching staff has this figured out. We have been playing flustered this whole series and until with settle down and knock down some shots, take care of the basketball and play defense, we wont recover. Its a must win on Tuesday.
