Welfare Summer Day #6 - Up at 7:30, skipped on pirates game due to rain.. Trying out this whole stay at home mom thing, laundry, dishes, vacuuming and cooking.. shhitt.. give me a kid and a rich wife and I am set!!!
Woke up at early again, only this time it was supposed be for a purpose.. well that never happened.. the threat of rain, mixed with the fact that I was exactly thrilled to ride six hours round trip, crammed in a car to watch the Pirates play.. soo I skipped out on the rode trip to Pittsburgh.. I think it was a good decision, as for some reason I was totally productive..Spent the day cleaning out the car, and attempting to clean the apartment. did the dishes.. cleaned out the fridge and stove.. totally could handle this whole stay at home thing.. ya know?? Clean, run errands, watch the kids, do some blogging, pay the bills.. easy stuff right?? well probably not that easy, but boy did it seem easy for the day.
I must of been feeling under the weather, because for some reason I even decided that I was going get things packed a whole day early for my trip to New Jersey.. Which brings up a good questions, are those that are chronic procrastinators destined to be this way forever?? What does it take for someone to snap out of this need to wait for an approaching deadline to get motivated?? I wonder where I would be in life if I did things in a timely fashion.. I would of had much better grades.. I would probably be in much better shape. Would I have ended up at a different college??? most likely.. would I have stuck with football instead of switching to soccer in high school?? again most likely.. Which is pretty crazy to think about.. Without soccer, there would be no Salem International, there would be no Glenville State, no Alderson Broaddus, no Sports Information Director, no College Coaching.. Would I be stuck in a desk job somewhere?? making good money, but not liking life?? possibly.. hmmm.. crazy to think about..
After the productive day.. game the dreaded torture of Game 1 of the NBA Finals.. sooo painful it was as I watched the Lakers drub the Orlando Magic.. Makes you wonder what if?? What if Mike Brown didn't get out coached??? What if Delonte West hits that shot in game 1? What if the Cavs don't blow massive leads in the Game 1 and 3 losses.. ahhh torture.. anyhow the Lakers looked like a team that was ready to win a NBA Championship.. they jumped all over the Magic from start to finish.. and ohhh wait.. Lamar Oden looked like he wanted to play.. wow...
Oh well off to bed.. up early to head to Jersey...
